DESIGN THINKING
Design Thinking is a strategy for solving problems through creativity, and innovation.
“The goal of a designer is to listen, observe, understand, sympathize, empathize, synthesize and glean insights.”
In this course, students will learn to think like a designer and use the design thinking process to solve real world challenges. Learning happens through finding innovative solutions to real-world problems. An example of a current real world challenge is to design a school cafeteria that incorporates safety protocols necessary to prevent the spread of covid-19 while meeting the emotional and nutritional needs of the students and school staff.
Starfire Design Thinking classes are facilitated by passionate, highly skilled professionals and are collaborative, creative, and hands-on.
